Located at 177 N Glassell St, Orange, CA 92866, Chaiwale & Co operates as a cafe serving Orange in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Chaiwale & Co at (657) 236-4100; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, chaiwaleandco.com.

Orange is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Orange follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My journey from chaiwale & co to chipotle Chaiwale & co knows how to make chai, but they have no idea how to handle food. While our mango lassi and masala chai were wonderful, both the butter chicken and paneer burritos were completely cold inside. We pointed it out and were told we’d get fresh replacements, only for the staff to microwave the exact same sloppy burritos and return them to us. Being Indian, this was incredibly disappointing. I ended up leaving the food untouched, taking my drinks, and going to Chipotle next door instead. Won't be back for the food.

We tried their chai with the bun maska and their Tres Leches cake and everything was delicious. The gentleman taking the order was super nice and cheerful and the atmosphere was popping. Found my place for chai when I have guests over.

The hype is not real. Samosas at best are store bought and they sell it for $8 for 2. I think at the store it's $10 for 20. Nice profit margin. The pistachio tres leches is really tres lches with pistachio sprinkles. The chai $6 for a tiny cup is not chai.. it's blend for desi flavors. Unfortunately I wont be back. Dissapointing..

I really really want to like this place but somehow it’s really hard not to (at the moment). Heard about this place and went here on Sunday late afternoon. They’re closed for an hr, for whatever reason. We walked around and ate elsewhere and come back to try the chai kettle and some dessert. Came back and it’s opened, the place is packed both inside and outside…they do have both seating inside and outside. Th place is somewhat clean, too many people and lack of cleaning by staff. Staff doesn’t seem happy to work there with their long face with no greeting bc nor courtesy manner. Heard people was telling that the wait is long and they ran out of thing without letting them know and they just sat “no” and that is that. Good variety choices menu. But decided to just ordered a kettle…yes got the long face and no “hi” now “thank you”, just the long face expression of “why am I here”. Yes we tipped. The interior is quite nice and mixed for Bollywood vibe. Love it here since it’s right on the corner of the strip and both street so quite nice. Waited over 25mins from the outside and we moved inside and I asked if it’s will be done anytime and got answer “5mins”. When they got

Beautiful ambiance! We went here after hike at Peters Canyon. It was quiet Saturday morning before it got busy. Clean, warm, welcoming energy. Staff is kind and helpful. They had tastings for Rose Pistachio Loaf and they were heavenly. We went ahead bought the whole loaf. We also purchased pistachio latte which was served in glass container - 10/10. Avocado toast was fine , bit bland for our taste but was served with kurkure so more doable. Overall , cafe sits at the cute corner , neighborhood is a fantastic walk and overall 10/10 recommended. I wish I had my book with me to spend extra time here . We plan to revisit soon.
